BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for an Underwriter. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
What awaits you?
* Evaluate financial datamaking a fully justified and sound decisionon all types of Private Customer GB (BMW / MINI) and Private Customer All Brands
* Decisions made within the agreed SLA with Sales
* Review of underwriting declines, appeals and complaints.
* Review and analyse additional information supplied by the Customer to evidence a decision.
* Collaboratewithin all underwriting teams and relevant stakeholders (Compliance, Risk, Sales Support, etc.)
* Identify and mitigate AML and Financial Crime
* Responsiblefor offering advice and support toPrivate Customer GB (BMW / MINI) and Private Customer All BrandsinApplication Processingfor best customer and company outcomes in line with TCFregulations.
What should you bring along?
* A sound knowledge of the range of finance plans and financial services products essential
* Competence in FCA regulatory requirements incl. AML and Financial Crime and the regulatory impact on underwriting processes
* Strong communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
* Proven analytical and strong decision-making skills are essential.
* Be able to work well as a team and on own initiative, in particular when escalating problems or issues.
