We are looking for a skilled and motivated
Audio Visual Engineer
to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects across the UK, installing and supporting cutting-edge AV technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure and maintain a range of AV equipment including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems and sound systems
* Carry out site surveys to assess installation requirements and recommend solutions
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support
* Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating to a high standard
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
* Follow health and safety regulations during all installations and service work
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in AV installation, maintenance and support
* Strong knowledge of AV systems such as video conferencing, digital signage, projection and audio distribution
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
* Familiarity with brands such as Biamp, Yealink, AMX or Crestron (or similar) is desirable
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
* CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent
* Electrical or networking qualifications
* Experience programming control systems (e.g. Crestron, AMX)
