Approved Electrician

3-month contract | 37 hours/week | Immediate Start
We're seeking an experienced and qualified Approved Electrician to support peak compliance works across educational, industrial, and utility sites in Southern Scotland. This role is field-based with daily travel from a central depot near Motherwell.
Responsibilities for Approved Electrician
* Conduct electrical inspection and testing in line with BS7671 standards
* Perform emergency lighting and equipment testing
* Carry out remedial work based on inspection findings
* Work to predefined scopes and adhere to strict safety protocols
* Travel daily to client sites using company-provided van
Requirements for Approved Electrician
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
* 18th Edition (BS7671)
* AM2 or equivalent apprenticeship
* Basic DBS check (required)
* Valid ECS Card
* Experience working in commercial and industrial environments
* Self-sufficient with strong problem-solving skills
