Head of Membership Engagement
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, UK | Hybrid Working
A UK-based charity is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their senior management team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Member Engagement Team, drive investment growth, and ensure members are at the heart of all activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to grow membership and investment across multiple currencies.
* Lead member engagement initiatives including events, mailings, the AGM, and digital communications.
* Oversee the development and management of the online member portal and CRM system to maximise engagement.
* Direct marketing and communications strategies to maximise ROI and brand visibility.
* Manage content across social media channels and digital platforms.
* Build strategic partnerships with media and stakeholders to enhance the charity's profile.
* Contribute to the strategic direction as a member of the senior management team.
About You
* Proven experience developing multi-channel communication strategies with measurable outcomes.
* Strong communicator, able to build relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders.
* Experienced in digital content planning and engagement strategies.
* Knowledge of membership business models and investment growth strategies is desirable.
