Recruitment Advisor (Ark Teacher Training- Birmingham and National Primary)
Reports to: Senior Recruitment Manager for ATT
Location: West London – currently operating an agile working policy with two core days (Mon and Weds) in the office or Birmingham (multiple sites) with regular travel and one core day in the West London office
Contract: FTC (1 year- maternity cover)
Pattern: Full Time (standard hours 9am – 5.30pm)

1st round interviews (virtual): w/c 18/03/2024
2nd round interviews (in person): w/c 25/03/2024
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience)
About the role:

This role presents an exciting prospect to assume a pivotal position within our established team, contributing significantly to our continued support of the Ark Network schools and trainee teacher recruitment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full recruitment process, bringing high quality trainee teachers into Ark schools in Birmingham, and Ark primary schools, nationally. You will be responsible for attracting candidates to apply, and then guide them through the recruitment process. You will need to build and maintain excellent relationships with both candidates and Ark school colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate relationships with target universities and community organisations to access their pool of potential candidates
2. Deliver captivating presentations to groups of potential candidates to encourage applications
3. Build rapport and connection with candidates to ensure that they have a positive experience of Ark recruitment and chose Ark as their preferred training provider
4. Actively manage candidates over the telephone and via email to ensure maximum conversion of applicants to offers
5. Build and maintain close working relationships with HRBPs, Regional Directors & school Principals to ensure that their recruitment needs are understood and fulfilled effectively
Key Requirements:
6. Knowledge of account management skills, recruitment, OR education – all three are not required if you can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly
7. Possesses excellent communication skills and demonstrate sound judgment
8. Hard-working, detail-orientated, systematic, and organised
9. Strong IT skills and in particular knowledge of Microsoft Office
10. Experience of Salesforce would be beneficial
11. Committed and generous team worker, to whom going above and beyond expectations for their colleagues is second nature

About Ark Teacher Training
Launched in 2013, Ark Teacher Training is a programme for committed graduates and career changers who aim to become great teachers. Trainees spend one year in an Ark school - becoming a qualified teacher while learning on the job. With the support of an inspirational group of tutors, coaches and educational experts, the trainees have all the tools they need to perfect their craft.
