Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding Science curriculum
* Provide strategic direction and support to Science teachers, promoting a culture of excellence
* Monitor and evaluate student progress in Science, implementing effective intervention strategies
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching and learning resources
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, upholding the school's values
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's Science program
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and achievements
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialization in Science or a related field
* Postgraduate degree in Science or Science Education (preferred)
Experience and Skills:
* Significant experience teaching Science, preferably within a secondary school setting
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
* In-depth knowledge of the Science curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
* Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with advancements in Science education
