Home Instead Charnwood is looking for a Live-In Care Professional to support a specific client who requires a male care professional due to personal care needs and preferences. This requirement is in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
This is an ideal role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and values building meaningful relationships with the person they care for.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
You must also have full right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Provide live-in support for one client in their own home who is living with cerebral palsy.
2. Assist with personal care, medication prompts, meals, mobility, and daily routines
3. Carry out light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and errands
4. Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
5. Support the client in attending appointments and enjoying hobbies
6. Follow a personalised care plan and communicate regularly with the office team
What You’ll Receive
7. £150 per day plus a food allowance
8. Ongoing placement with one client for stability and continuity

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
15. A care professional comfortable providing personal care to a male client
16. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
17. Must have full right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available
18. A kind, respectful and dependable individual
19. Excellent communication skills and a desire to support others
20. Experience is welcome but not essential – we provide full training
