The OpportunityWe are seeking a talented and commercially minded Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate M&A team in London.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer to work on a broad range of complex and high-value domestic and cross-border transactions, advising leading corporates, private equity sponsors, and management teams across a variety of sectors.The RoleYou will play a key role on sophisticated M&A matters, taking responsibility for running transactions, managing junior team members, and maintaining close client relationships. The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to contribute strategically to deal structuring and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising on public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures, disposals, and strategic investmentsManaging transactions from inception to completion, including drafting and negotiating transaction documentsLeading and supervising junior associates and traineesWorking closely with partners and clients to deliver practical, commercial adviceContributing to business development initiatives and client relationship managementCandidate ProfileEngland & Wales qualified solicitorTypically 4+ PQE with strong experience in corporate M&A gained at a leading City, international, or top-tier firmExcellent technical skills with a proven track record on complex transactionsCommercial, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters effectivelyStrong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationshipsExperience of supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
