Location: Based near Chesterfield, Derbyshire (within 50 miles North or South preferred) – UK-wide travel required
Are you a CompEx-qualified Electrician with experience in hazardous areas? We’re hiring a skilled Installation & Maintenance Electrician to join a growing engineering team delivering bespoke LPG refuelling stations and electrical systems across the UK.
? What You’ll Be Doing:
* Building custom LPG refuelling systems at our Derbyshire-based manufacturing facility
* Installing new LPG/LNG plants and conducting electrical inspections nationwide
* Performing rectification work, full plant upgrades, and off-site electrical assembly
* Working with hazardous area-rated equipment in a hands-on and dynamic environment
What You’ll Need:
* NVQ Level 3 or JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician)
* 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) & C&G 2391, 2391-52, or 2394 & 2395
* Experience with hazardous area electrical installations – ideally in gas/petrochemical environments
* Excellent fault-finding skills and familiarity with control systems, drawings (P&IDs, schematics), and SWA cable installations
* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel
? Salary: Up to £50,000 + overtime, travel & subsistence
