Route Planner Transport Planner – based near Chelmsford outskirts. Free parking available; driver required.
The role will involve planning for a fleet of vehicles operating across multiple sites across the country. This is a busy, varied position.
The Role
* Plan and coordinate daily transport routes
* Allocate services, deliveries and collections effectively
* Support drivers with daily schedules and job allocations
* Manage daily transport activity to maintain exceptional customer service
* Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently
* Work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure smooth service delivery
About You
* Experience in route planning, transport planning or a similar logistics role
* Strong IT skills including Word and Excel
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
* Customer focused with a positive, adaptable approach
* Own transport is essential due to office location

* £33,000 per annum depending on experience
