Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves hands-on gardening tasks, including planting, pruning, and maintaining various types of plants and landscapes. The Gardener will work closely with our team to ensure that all outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.
Responsibilities
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks
* Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
* Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, weeding, and mulching
* Plant, transplant, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants
* Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gardening equipment and work areas
* Keep accurate records of plant care activities and maintenance schedules
Qualifications
* Some experience in gardening or horticulture is desired but not essential
* Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and practices is desirable but not essential
* Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
* Strong attention to detail with a passion for growing plants
* Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving in garden management
* Excellent time keeping
* Have a high standard of the quality of work produced and have an keen eye for detail
