The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach German across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
* Inspire students to explore German language, culture, history, and contemporary society
* Support students of all abilities through inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level German examinations
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work and innovative departmental resources
* Support enrichment opportunities such as language clubs, cultural events, exchange programmes, and educational visits
* Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
* Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, including form tutor responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate

* Holds, or is working towards, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a degree in German, Modern Languages, Linguistics, or a related discipline
