What you’ll do
Report directly to the SE5; the SE1 will carry out all engineering activities, including Overhauls, Heavy Maintenance activities, minor defects rectification, modifications, Weighing & balancing, repairs, and time‑based maintenance packages.
You will also get the chance to work on our newest/latest fleet of trains that SE has to offer.

The experience you’ll need
* Experience skilled mechanical / electrical work.
* Practical aptitude.
* Ability to read and follow schematics and diagrams.
* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance Electrical or equivalent.
* Basic knowledge of IT systems and computer skills.
* Possess a full Drivers Licence.

Given the start and end times of shifts, it’s also best to have your own transport to get to and from your place of work.
