We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to deliver high-quality teaching in our state-of-the-art Technology Centre. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons across full-time and part-time Electrical Installation courses.
* Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials tailored to different learning styles.
* Assess student performance through marking, feedback, and formal assessments.
* Contribute to the planning and development of curriculum content.
* Monitor and support student progress, attendance, retention, and achievement.
* Participate in student interviews, induction, open days, and curriculum meetings.
* Ensure compliance with the college's inclusive learning and safeguarding policies
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
Essential Criteria:
* Relevant industry qualifications and/or substantial experience in Electrical Installation.
* Willingness to achieve a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) if not already held.
* Strong knowledge of current electrical installation practices, standards, and regulations.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate and inspire students.
* Intermediate-level IT skills including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
