Overview
Account Handler role at Jensten. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Account Handler to join Simpson & Parsons, which is part of the Jensten Group. Based at the Windermere office, reporting to the General Manager. Simpson & Parsons has a reputation for reliable, high-quality service provided by knowledgeable and qualified advisors—covering both Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance. Established in the heart of the English Lake District since 1983.
Responsibilities
* Offer and present insurance solutions including policies and other risk management solutions to secure renewal and/or new business.
* Assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to raise concerns and provide solutions.
* Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities. Utilise leads provided by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase quote volume.
* Achieve or exceed agreed quotes/sales/income from all marketing sources, including personal prospecting.
* Understand clients’ business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
* Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations (e.g., FCA).
About You
* Insurance background
* Cert CII or willingness to work towards
* Great customer service skills
* Excellent telephone manner, ability to network and build working relationships
* Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
* Experience in a similar role with Insurers and clients
* Ability to use initiative and multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
* Acturis systems knowledge (desirable)
