ServiceNow Discovery Engineer

Hybrid - 1 Day per week on-site in London
My client, a well-known financial services company, are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Discovery Engineer with experience with AWS Integration and hands-on experience configuring event-driven discovery for AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript development skills, particularly in ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, and custom server-side scripting.
Responsibilities:
Configure and optimize event-driven discovery for AWS resources using ServiceNow Discovery and MID Servers.
Develop and maintain custom probes, sensors, and patterns to support dynamic cloud infrastructure.
Write and troubleshoot JavaScript-based business rules, script includes, and workflow scripts within ServiceNow.
Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure accurate and timely CMDB updates.
Monitor and improve Discovery performance and ECC Queue processing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with ServiceNow Discovery, especially in AWS environments.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform.
Familiarity with CMDB architecture, event-driven automation, and MID Server configuration.
Experience with AWS services and cloud resource modelling.
Ability to analyze Discovery logs and optimize probe/sensor performance
