Part-time Executive Assistant
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £15ph to £16ph
Term: Temp to Perm
Hours: 3 days a week (flexible), 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑level administrative support to the Director, including planning and preparation for board and subcommittee meetings, distributing agendas, taking accurate and concise minutes, collating and chasing papers, and handling venues and logistics.
* Support the Director in policy and compliance work.
* Assist the Chief Executive with diary management, correspondence, and coordination.
* Act as a trusted liaison between senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders, including Trustees.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive governance and executive matters.
* Ensure a professional and welcoming experience for visitors and act as first point of contact for Trustees.
* Represent the organisation with warmth and professionalism in all interactions.
* Deal with general enquiries.
* Assist with some HR administration such as onboarding, recruitment support and confidential record keeping.
* Manage office contractor and service provider relationships.
* Support health and safety compliance and ensure the office operation and environment align with organisational needs.
* Provide other ad‑hoc administrative support as required across the charity.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in executive support, ideally within a governance or finance context.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* High level of discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
* Professional presence and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and visitors.
