We are recruiting for a small animal practice in Halesowen, West Midlands who are looking for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The practice is looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has good experience working in a small animal practice. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the wider team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Your nursing duties will involve managing the kennels, assisting in the operating theatre, and consulting.
This role is full time for 35 to 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:45am to 6:15pm. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
Duties:
8. Working closely with the clinical, non-clinical teams and management to deliver the best levels of patient and customer care
9. Leading the nursing team
10. Overseeing the running of the day
11. Working as an active member of the clinical support team
