We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
We are looking for a full-time Publishing and Operation Executive to work within the Business Support Team in the English department. Your role will be wide and varied offering support to teams across the department in all aspects of their jobs.
About the role
You will be part of a team working on a wide variety of tasks and requests, from various teams, across the English portfolio so an excellent understanding of the English language and keen eye for detail are essential. Responsibilities include dealing effectively with correspondence and general enquiries, processing invoices through SAP, maintaining files and databases, administering contracts and other publishing documentation, uploading documents to SharePoint sites, booking travel, assisting with market research, working on a variety of editorial tasks, supporting audio and video recording sessions, preparing reports in Word as well as presentations in PowerPoint and helping to organise meetings and conferences. You will also be required to support with organising training courses for colleagues.
About you
You will have excellent communication and administrative skills, be flexible, able to work as part of a team and take on extra responsibilities and tasks as required, in a busy but friendly office environment. You will need to have strong organisational skills and be comfortable multi-tasking and switching quickly to more urgent requests when appropriate. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration are essential.
