* Department for Transport Careers The successful candidate will join a busy, collaborative directorate team supporting recruitment, resourcing and workforce planning.
Working with HR colleagues, recruitment partners and hiring managers, you’ll help maintain accurate headcount data, support recruitment campaigns through the Oleeo system, and ensure vacancy approvals and onboarding run efficiently.
You’ll also maintain job profile documentation and version control.
This varied role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and communication to keep recruitment activity running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to: Record and track changes against target headcount when they occur.
Prepare headcount forecasts, monthly, providing explanation to the resource projections and variances against approved headcount targets.
Assist colleagues in the management of the Oleeo Recruitment System by scheduling, sifting, interviews, and assessments, and updating results and/or feedback at each stage of the process.
Build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders both internal and external including candidates, The Government Recruitment Service (GRS), DfT Resourcing Group (DRG), HR Business Consultant (HRBC), Hiring Managers (HM), Communication & Engagement Manager (CEM) and Shared Services to ensure the smooth running of recruitment schemes.
Work collaboratively with immediate colleagues, other Co-ordination Units, and the business to ensure the accuracy of information, compliance with agreed procedures, to act as a point of reference for Directorate matters and information, and to promote good communications.
