What does this role entail?
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be working as part of the frontline rota. You will coordinate daily operations, maintain high standards in customer service, merchandising, and promotional execution, and identify opportunities to drive sales. Your leadership will help create a positive and productive working environment, ensuring the café operates in line with company procedures while delivering an excellent visitor experience.
Key duties will include:
1. Lead the daily operation of the unit, coordinating the team and maintaining high standards in guest service, cash handling, stock control, and security.
2. Actively promote and sell the current product offering in a professional, engaging, and friendly manner.
3. Maintain excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards across all areas.
4. Provide accurate and informative product knowledge, including key features and benefits.
5. Process transactions confidently and professionally, supporting with till opening and closing as required.
6. Understand and communicate current performance and targets at the start of each shift.
7. Maximise sales opportunities by ensuring the team is informed about product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
About you
8. To act as a brand ambassador for Longleat ensuring that all work adheres to our brand guidelines/proposition and aligns with our vision of a Picture-Perfect site whilst performing the function required.
9. To always provide a guest focused service ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of the brand.
10. Always represent the Company by being smart in appearance and presentable whilst behaving in an appropriate manner in line with our cultural values.
11. Be accountable for their own development seeking out opportunities to learn new skills to continuously improve.
12. Work in a responsible and safe manner always adhering to Health & Safety, safe working practices and Company Policies and Procedures.
13. Such other reasonable duties as and when required by your Line Manager.

Your contract
This is a permanent 35 hour contract, working 5 days out of 7 with working hours to vary over a 7 day rota basis, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required. The earliest start time is 8am, and the latest finish time is 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.
