About The Role
Our Supported Accommodation services offer specialised housing solutions for individuals who are homeless and tackling substance or alcohol misuse issues. In your role you will support our customers on their recovery journey, with the goal of helping them transition into their own tenancies and live independently. Everyone we support is committed to achieving abstinence or participating in a detox programme.
Day To Day Duties
* Engaging and interacting with the people we support
* Following a support plan with the individuals that access the service
* Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
* Liaising with external agencies
* Addressing any additional needs the people we support might have
* Wellbeing checks
* Ensuring the building is secure, including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building
Skills and Experience Needed
A passion to work with and enable people to live as independently a life as possible.
* An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people's lives
* A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well its a great team player
* Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

Pay and Pensions
* £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)

o Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service

Time off and Flexibility
* 26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 27 days after 1 year of service or cash equivalent of 1 day annual leave.

* Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
