Here is a great opportunity to join our expanding service. As an Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will be expected to work under supervision as part of a dynamic mental health team in a creative environment where evidence-based interventions, new ideas, ways of working and supporting children and young people are actively encouraged. Offering a Whole School Approach is a part of this exciting role. This approach requires flexibility and working in educational settings. We encourage CPD and will continue to support you to consolidate and develop your skills. You will be able to use your skills via direct individual and group work to support children, young people and their parents. We have neurodevelopmental practitioners and a disordered eating practitioner within our service, offering in‑house training and clinical skills. There will be expectations and opportunities to work collaboratively with children, young people and their families to support the co‑production and development of the service, creating meaningful participation work.

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialist services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
