Description
As an Accounts Senior/Semi‑Senior you will support the accounts team in preparing financial statements, tax returns and management accounts for a portfolio of clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic and supportive environment, allowing you to develop your skills and progress in the field of accountancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and finalise statutory accounts and tax returns.
* Review and support trainees, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high‑quality outputs.
* Maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries with professionalism and a client‑first attitude.
* Organise your workload effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for managerial review.
* Ensure accurate logging of chargeable time and support effective fee recovery.
Key Requirements
* AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified (or actively working towards qualification).
* Those qualified by experience will also be considered.
* Proven practice experience – audit experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional Requirements
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Proactive and detail‑oriented, with excellent time management.
* A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, fast‑paced environment.
* Hybrid working considered.
* Experience with cloud‑based accounting tools (e.g. Xero) is an advantage.
