Main duties of the job
* Manage & coordinate appointment bookings for AURAS and FLOCUS assessments (virtual and in-person).
* Act as a central liaison across SSC departments to support coordination and communication of bookings.
* Respond to patient enquiries for AURAS & FLOCUS with professionalism and empathy.
* Send, collect, collate and report patient feedback to inform service improvements.
* Ensure complaints are directed to and processed by the relevant teams.
* Support coordination between administrative, clinical & medical teams across both pathways.
* Maintain accurate records, databases and tracking systems using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
* Contribute to service performance monitoring and quality assurance (CQC).

As our services expand across Kent & Medway and beyond, we are seeking a proactive and organised Bookings Coordinator to ensure seamless support across both pathways.
Job responsibilities
The Bookings Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the operational delivery of diagnostic services. This includes managing bookings for both in-person and virtual assessments, liaising with key departments across SSC, supporting patient enquiries, and coordinating feedback and complaints processes. The post holder will work closely with both administrative, clinical & medical teams to ensure a smooth and person-centred experience for patients.
Person Specification
Experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
* Experience in administrative coordination or booking roles within healthcare or similar settings.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
* Understanding of patient confidentiality, safeguarding, and complaints handling.
* Familiarity with neurodevelopmental services, particularly autism and ADHD.
