Your responsibilities
will include:
1. Working closely with the people we support to develop and implement individualised behavioural support plans that both meet their needs and help to develop their independence and life skills
2. Completing psychological and behavioural assessment tools and analysing complex data
3. Facilitating PBS and other relevant workshops
4. Supporting with staff training & development
5. Providing high quality written reports
6. Being involved with incident analysis & reflective practice
7. Attending regular clinical and service development meetings
8. Being an integral part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team
9. Contributing to audit and research
10. Carry out these duties in consultation and under supervision of the Registered Psychologist and contribute to the maintenance and development of a high-quality psychological service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
11. An undergraduate degree (2.1 or above) in Psychology that confers graduate basis for chartered membership (GBC) by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
12. Experience of working with people in a similar or related field relevant to the post
13. Knowledge of PBS theory/practice
14. Have a good understanding of the legal frameworks that are relevant to the role (e.g., Mental Capacity Act)
15. To provide high quality reports and PBS plans
16. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
17. A UK Drivers Licence
