Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students on an individual basis? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team on a supply basis.
Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wakefield and Kirklees
Salary: £83-£90 per day
Contract: Supply basis, flexible hours (part-time or full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis.
* Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
* Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in the UK.
* Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
* Flexibility to work on a supply basis, accommodating both part-time and full-time assignments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
