Furniture Delivery Driver / Assembler

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Approximately 40 hours over 3-4 days (Monday to Friday operation)
The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Goole. Our client supplies and installs household furniture through online and direct‑to‑public sales.
Role
* Working as part of a 2-person team
* Delivering and assembling household furniture
* Loading and unloading the van
* Carrying furniture into customers' homes
* Using basic battery‑operated and manual tools for assembly
The van is pre‑loaded each day, and the team departs each morning to complete scheduled deliveries.
Requirements
* Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
* Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused
* Comfortable using basic hand and battery‑operated tools
* Over 25 years old (insurance purposes)
* Held a full UK driving licence for at least 1 year
* No DR, DD, CD or IN10 endorsements
* No more than 6 minor penalty points
What We Offer
* £12.50 per hour
* 28 days holiday accrual per annum
* On‑the‑job training alongside an experienced senior driver/assembler
* Immediate start available (following agency registration)
* Ongoing weekly work, with the potential for a permanent full‑time position
Some early starts (from 5:00am) and longer days may be required.
