Commercial Data Coordinator - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Key Purpose of Role
Integral part of ensuring data accuracy across the business. Act as gate keepers of data integrity on the system. Providing an accurate and efficient service in the data maintenance of all products throughout their lifecycle. Assist the Buyers in the active management of all functions within product categories.
Key Accountabilities
1. Validate and uploading New Line information into Navision database
2. Act as the gatekeeper to all product information in Navision database during its lifecycle -creating, importing and maintaining data as appropriate
3. Coordinate and implement all promotional data activity ensuring promotions land accurately and to agreed CPA
4. Coordinate and implement new product data activity during Product Programme reviews to agreed CPA
5. Responsible for all lifecycle changes of products on the system
6. Responsible for maintenance and accuracy of cost price and retail price changes on the system
7. Provide Waste Packaging and WEEE returns through supplying accurate data
8. Support Quality Control Manager with maintenance of testing and Data Safety sheets
9. Assist Finance team with invoice queries by liaising with buyers and suppliers
10. Assist with data set up on Navision database for new store openings to agreed CPA
11. Act as a User Acceptance Tester for any development to Navision database as appropriate
12. Work collaboratively with Operations, Customer Services, Retail Assist and Distribution Centre to resolve all queries as appropriate
13. Attend cross functional meetings raising concerns, taking notes and actions
14. General admin and screening calls
15. Ad-hoc duties as required by the Company
Essential Skills
16. Intermediate Excel skills – including a good understanding of V Look up function
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
18. Able to demonstrate a keen eye for accuracy and detail in all aspects
19. Able to adapt to managing fast changing priorities and show a high level of flexibility in attitude towards all tasks
20. Able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, developing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
21. Able to demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying issues and resolutions
