An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated AHP or Nurse to join our Community based multidisciplinary team (MDT) comprising Physiotherapists, Nurses and Health Care Trainers.The successful candidate will have previous pain management experience or be able to demonstrate an interest in the speciality. They will work within the Community Pain Management Service to provide a person-centred approach to managing persistent pain. A qualification in independent non-medical prescribing is desirable but not essential.You will work autonomously within the service, managing a caseload of patients delivering individualised patient care. Your caseload will consist of patients with persistent pain and you will work with them to improve their quality of life by optimising their medication. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.The Service works closely with the Tier 3 pain management team and the Community MSK Service. You will participate in the delivery of group pain management sessions to provide education and advice face to face and on-line.Are you passionate about pain management?
