Job Description
3. Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
4. Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
5. Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries effectively.
7. Collaborate with the finance team for budgetary and reporting purposes.
8. Update and maintain payroll systems and employee records.
9. Ensure accurate calculation of deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
10. Assist with audits and implement improvements to payroll processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Payroll Officer should have:
11. A strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
12. Experience working in payroll within a not-for-profit environment ideally
13. Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
14. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
15. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
16. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
17. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
