Support the day-to-day operations of the Catering Department, ensuring food safety compliance, excellent customer service, and high presentation standards across the restaurant and deli areas. What you'll do: Maintain high standards of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and hygiene compliance Ensure service counters, storage areas and surrounding spaces are clean and tidy Replenish shelves and fridges, manage stock rotation and displays Accurately process all transactions through the till/app system Support stock takes and audit preparation Provide professional and friendly customer service at all times Assist in other areas such as deli or vending when required Attend training sessions and team briefings Follow site procedures including absence reporting and timekeeping What you'll bring: Previous experience in a catering or customer service environment Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer service Good numeracy and literacy skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable, flexible and proactive approach Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards Ability to multitask and work well within a team Desirable Food Safety and COSHH knowledge Barista skills Understanding of food hygiene legislation Why Sodexo?: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
