In 2022, we opened Pure College, a specialist college for young people aged 16-24 with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP). This dynamic, inclusive setting has rapidly grown, and this year we're proud to offer 36 student places across three exciting programmes: Ambition for Life, Ambition for Work, and our flagship Supported Internship Programme. Our aim is to give giving young people the knowledge and skills to succeed in life: through work experience, industry placements, travel training, and a focus on building confidence, wellbeing, and independence.

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and compassionate College Administrator to join our dedicated team. This varied role requires someone with exceptional administrative skills who can also support student progression, welfare, and engagement. You'll play a key role in helping our students transition successfully through college and beyond, while also ensuring the smooth running of daily college operations.
To support the Head of College with a wide range of administrative tasks within Pure College. You will have excellent communication skills and will interact with students, staff, professionals and parents/carers ensuring the highest quality of customer service is maintained.

Desirable
* Experience working in an education or SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) environment.
* Previous administrative experience in an education setting.
* Understanding of EHCPs and Local Authority processes.
* Experience with student support or welfare services.
* Familiarity with college MIS systems and safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
General College Administration
Manage day-to-day administrative duties, including filing, data entry, communications, and document handling.
Act as the first point of contact at the front desk: greeting visitors, answering phones, managing emails, and booking meeting rooms.
Liaise with staff, students, parents/carers, and external agencies to support effective communication and coordination.
Attend and minute meetings (e.g., Governors' meetings), ensuring timely circulation of agendas and documentation.
Progression Support
Support student transitions and onward destinations by liaising with students, staff and stakeholders
Schedule and coordinate student progression interviews with relevant staff.
Student Welfare Support
Process referrals and book sessions for Talking Therapies and other student wellbeing services.
Provide signposting for external support services (e.g., benefits advice, housing support).
Assist with travel arrangements including bus pass applications and renewals.
Support the coordination of EHCP Reviews: book meetings, liaise with Local Authorities, and process required documentation.
Manage lunch orders and applications for Free School Meals (FSM).
Marketing & Communications
Coordinate college marketing tasks including website updates, promotional events, and attending marketing meetings.
Support feedback and engagement initiatives (e.g., Customer Champions, surveys).
Draft and send communications to parents/carers, ensuring clarity and timeliness.
Facilities Management & Health & Safety
Monitor the general upkeep of college facilities in collaboration with site staff.
Support basic health and safety processes and reporting.
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where necessary.
