Job Title: Fitness Manager Location: Andover About The Role The Fitness Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite gym; including the delivery of onsite and virtual classes, gym inductions, fitness programming etc… and work closely with various departments within the client site to create and deliver the internal wellbeing strategy.The successful candidate will the wellbeing ambassador onsite, representing Westfield Health, aiming to inspire others and a key enabler for healthy change. Your Responsibilities Day to day running, management and coordination of the onsite Active Spaces (gym and R&R). Deliver a hybrid of onsite and virtual delivery of group ex. classes, 1-1 and group session at all levels. Delivering ad-hoc individual/group health screening and workshops on a diverse range of wellbeing topics, facilitating health improvement with a non-judgemental and motivational approach. Work with the onsite wellbeing team to assist the development/delivery, and role model the wellbeing calendar. Conducting initial assessments & 1 to 1 review sessions at regular intervals to ensure user engagement and minimise drop-outs. Update training plans and/or re-evaluating clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Reporting various metrics to monitor the utilization and performance of the Active Space and wellbeing initiatives, such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity level. Play an active role in the delivery, creation and improvement of our wellbeing initiatives such as MHFA, office energisers, and wellbeing workshops. Build and sustain relationships with the key external stakeholders What You’ll Bring Currently hold an industry certificate such as Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training/Fitness Instructing and Personal Training. A proven track record of successfully working independently to establish training needs, develop interventions to meet these needs, and deliver high-quality health and wellbeing solutions and interventions as a result Proven experience of developing effective working relationships and influencing employees Experience in teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability Minimum of two years of personal training coaching experience desirable Strong communication and presentation skills A self–starter with strong planning and organising abilities First class interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Able to engage, influence and coach others across the business to achieve buy in and engagement to support delivery of the wellbeing strategy A passion and ethos for helping others with their health and wellbeing A flexible approach Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products Salary, Perks & Benefits Salary - £15,000.00 per annum 20 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 25 days annual leave plus 1 in lieu of Christmas period Health Cash Plan Westfield Rewards Pension plan with contributions Corporate Bonus Scheme Next Steps And Support If you think you fit the bill, we would love to hear from you!
