We are a professional cleaning agency based in Erith. We specialise in recruiting, vetting, and placing high-quality cleaning operatives across various sites in London and surrounding areas. Our focus is on delivering reliable, professional, and trustworthy cleaning staff to meet the needs of our growing client base.
We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for both clients and cleaning operatives, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of service and smooth coordination between management, clients, and operatives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for clients and staff via phone, email, and in person.
Manage and coordinate the registration process for new cleaning operatives.
Conduct induction sessions for operatives based on specific job roles.
Verify Right to Work documents and ensure full compliance with employment legislation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both digital and physical.
Request, monitor, and record shift requirements from site managers.
Liaise with management and operatives to ensure smooth scheduling and communication.
Assist with recruitment administration, including posting job ads and following up with candidates.
Support general office duties such as responding to emails, printing, photocopying, and organising documents.
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational and time-management abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-facing environment.
Knowledge of the cleaning industry or recruitment processes is a plus.
