A Stores Administrator is required for a manufacturing company based in Stoke-On-Trent. This role is key to ensuring smooth material flow through accurate booking, labelling, and distribution of goods, with a strong focus on administrative accuracy and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
Receive deliveries, check materials against delivery notes, and book them in using internal systems
Accurately label, protect, and store goods in their correct locations
Ensure timely processing of incoming goods while maintaining quality and stock control standards
Stock Movement
Prepare and issue parts or kits to production departments as required
Ensure all items are correctly identified and labelled for dispatch or internal use
Coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery of materials to the appropriate work areas
Stock Control & Administration
Use ERP or MRP systems to accurately enter stock transactions and movements
Perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
Process returned-to-stock (RTS) items accurately and ensure correct location allocation
Maintain consignment stock records and support inventory audits
Assist in preparing documentation and records for goods movement and stock transactions
