Job Description Job title Building Information Modelling (BIM) Lead Working Pattern Full Time, Hybrid Working Location: Raynesway, Derby (Hybrid – expected average of 3 days per week in the office) What you will be doing This is a key role within the Submarines Infrastructure function, responsible for leading the BIM strategy across a wide portfolio of complex and high-profile construction projects on the Raynesway site. You’ll shape our estate’s digital twin, manage our cloud-based CDE and asset data library, and drive digital construction adoption through the application of the UK BIM Framework and BS EN ISO 19650 standards. Responsibilities You’ll be: Acting as the client-side BIM intermediary between designers, contractors, and supply chain partners. Leading a team of BIM coordinators and managing BIM information exchange processes. Owning and maintaining our Common Data Environment (CDE) and Asset Information Model (AIM). Developing and implementing BIM protocols, Execution Plans and project information requirements. Supporting ISO 19650 accreditation efforts and managing estate-wide digital asset data. We’re looking for someone with the following: Substantial knowledge of the UK BIM Framework and BS EN ISO 19650 standards. Experience managing BIM data delivery using protocols such as COBie. Proven experience in setting up and operating Common Data Environments and digital workflows. Strong understanding of BIM modelling platforms: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Recap, Solibri, Glider BIM.
