Salary: £90 – £95 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Chichester. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing personalised support to pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to engage confidently in the classroom and beyond.
1:1 Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with specific learning or behavioural needs, following tailored education plans.
* Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the individual’s needs and learning style.
* Encourage active participation, independence, and self-confidence in the classroom.
* Support emotional and social development in a positive and nurturing manner.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and parents to review progress and set achievable goals.
Requirements for 1:1 Learning Support Assistant:
* CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare/Teaching Assistance, or relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Previous experience working as an LSA or supporting children with special educational needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils’ welfare.
* A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
