Treasury Analyst
London
18 month contract

They are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join the team on a 18 month contract, based in the London office, the role is working Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. There will be the occasional out of hours work required as deadlines require.
About the team
Their Treasury Teams manage debt, cash, financial risks, and banking relationships. They are looking for a Treasury Analyst to support the organisation with Global Bank Administration and other Treasury areas in the completion of their daily tasks.This may include but not be limited to working with and supporting their Wealth Management Treasury and Group Treasury FX in the set up and completion of their processes.
What you will be doing
As Treasury Analyst you will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you must be comfortable working under pressure and be able to manage and prioritize time effectively. You must have experience of working with banks on the set up and maintenance of global banking partnership and bank accounts. This is a highly visible role working to support our clients, regulators, external banks, and internal stakeholders. Below are the summarized key deliverables.
Support the Bank Administration Team:
* Open and close bank accounts as necessary
* Maintain corporate bank accounts by updating signers, setting up new services and keeping all account documentation up to date
* Set up, maintain and close bank accounts in eBAM and Quantum (treasury management software)
* Carryout KYC verification & documentation for bank accounts as may be required
Support the Wealth Management business Treasury in the UK:
* Prepare daily Liquidity and Money Market Trades reports and publish to internal stakeholders.
* Review the daily future settlement reports and arrange bank accounts funding for FX and Securities settlement across custodians’ bank accounts.
* Review assigned daily Treasury cash breaks from Reconciliations Team, recommend actions to clear or reassign to other teams.
* Preparation and daily upload of manual MT940 onto Treasury Management System-Quantum.
Support the Group Treasury FX dealing requirements:
* Provide additional support to Front Office FX dealing team, including monitoring FX positions, obtaining pricing from banks, and agreeing deals, supporting internal dealing requirements and administration for operational processes, IE trades booking etc.
* Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis for management information.
* Partner with internal teams and key FX partnership banks to maintain continuous process improvements which support business growth.
Treasury Projects & Initiatives
* Support ad-hoc Treasury tasks as required.
* Be the Change- by recommending Treasury BAU processes improvements.
What you bring:
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject – Accounting / Business / Finance / Economics / Mathematics.
* Experience in Treasury, Banking and or Finance.
* Interest in financial markets and related risks.
* Knowledge of cash management activities and foreign exchange (FX) trade activities.
* Minimum of Intermediate Word and Excel, report writing and presentation skills.
* Ability to plan and work independently in an organized manner & meet deadlines in a pressured environment.
* Experience of working with colleagues across global jurisdictions with different time zones.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional attitude.
* Willingness to travel at short notice if required.
Additional requirement not mandatory:
* Knowledge of the wealth management industry & Regulations.
* Possible knowledge and experience in credit risk, counterparty due diligence and financial analysis.
* Professional Accounting or Finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CFA and or recognized Treasury qualification-AMCT
