Health and Social Care Teacher – Key Stage 5
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Health and Social Care Teacher (Key Stage 5) to teach at a fantastic school within Hull. This is to cover an absence due to a sickness, starting 11 May and ending 22 June. There is the chance that this will increase in the future, but this cannot be verified until closer to the end of the academic year. Full planning and marking are expected for this position, so payment will be in line with the main teaching scale, between £168.80 and £232.56 per day. This will initially start on a full‑time basis until May Half Term, and then move to a 3‑day‑per‑week booking.
This role will involve teaching Health and Social Care to Key Stage 5 students, specifically teaching BTEC Level 3. This school has a large bank of resources and consistently shares good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally we are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher.
Located within Hull, the school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull by car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. The school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through one term of their ECT. We are excited to receive applications from teachers who have experience teaching Science but not applied science.
Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. Signing up for this role means you can be offered other shifts and roles through Tradewind Recruitment.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
