Overview
Business Development Manager - Scotland and North East. The role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the industrial and manufacturing sector in Yorkshire and the North. A proactive individual with a strong understanding of sales and client relationship management is required. The company is a medium-sized organisation specialising in the industrial and manufacturing sector, focused on providing innovative solutions and maintaining a results-driven, professional environment.
Base pay range
£45,000 to £55,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within Scotland and the North East.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
* Conduct market research to identify trends and potential business prospects.
* Prepare and deliver effective presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
* Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
* Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility.
Qualifications
* A proven track record in sales, particularly within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
* Ability to analyse market trends and translate them into business opportunities.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
* A self-motivated and results-driven approach to work.
* A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Yorkshire and the North.
