Job Title: Sales Manager - Filler\n\nLocation: Whilst the role will be home based - an extensive amount of travel is expected to visit customer sites, trade shows or conferences\n\nSalary: Competitive Plus company Car\n\nJob Type: Permanent, Full Time\n\nA Fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the LKAB UK Commercial Team. We are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager who will be responsible for supporting the Filler business area. Alongside the Commercial Manager: Filler, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, supporting the growth of the business area, working within a team environment and exceeding company targets.\n\nThe ideal candidate will regularly meet and maintain relationships with existing direct and indirect customers, as well as end users, key decision makers and trade associations to promote sales and growth and identify and develop new customers and opportunities for future growth in line with LKAB's KPI's.\n\nThe incumbent will be highly self-motivated and comfortable working on their own, with a proven background in sales.
There will be a significant amount of travel within the UK, with driving as the primary mode of transport, as well as limited overseas travel. There is also likely to be a requirement for regular overnight stays away from home.\n\nThe job holder will represent and promote company behaviours to both external and internal stakeholders in all that they do.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities:\n\nRegular visits to Filler customers\nRegular communication with customers to cover product, pricing and supply requirements\nLiaison with Customer services to facilitate communication with production to understand and determine schedules for market\nAttend trade shows, conferences and industry events as required\nMonitoring production, demand and supply to satisfy client sales.\nSupport in identifying and developing new business opportunities to generate new clients or markets\nEnsuring value maximisation through monitoring of customer pricing\nUse data and analytics to support recommendations\nCompetently support dispute management / customer complaints with clients and contractors, resolving to a satisfactory conclusion for all parties without losing repeat business\nEffective use and updating of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (LKAB CRM system) and similar systems\nPreparation and dispatch of quotations\nAttend all necessary LKAB networking opportunities and Company promotions (shows/conferences)\nPromotion of the company using relevant social mediaAbout you\n\nKnowledge of the Limestone Filler market is preferable (e.g. Asphalt, Concrete, Feed etc.)\nKnowledge of the construction market would be helpful, but not essential\nExcellent communicator\nStrong negotiation and sales skills\nPrepared to travel and spend time away from home\nDriving license essential\nResults orientated\nProficient in Microsoft office\nHave a good knowledge of a CRM system and its purpose\nGood financial and numeracy management skills\nPersonable with exceptional customer relationship management experience\nDrive and determination to excel at all levels.Benefits:\n\nCompany pension increasing in employer contributions after 5 years service\nLife insurance (Death in Service)\nEmployee Assistance Programme for employee, partner and family\nSalary Extras - Store discount scheme\n5 Days volunteer leave\nReframe cancer support\nMy Menopause centre\nCycle to Work SchemePlease click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.\n\nCandidates with experience of; Face to Face Sales, Product Demonstration, Customer Service, Territory Management, Account Management, Business Development, Commercial Awareness, Limestone Filler Sales, Construction Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, may also be considered for this role
