Duties
* Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
* Take accurate food orders from customers, ensuring all preferences are noted.
* Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
* Assist with any guest inquiries or concerns, providing excellent guest services at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout service.
Skills
* Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
* Knowledge of culinary principles and food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
