About the Role

As part of the engineering team, you’ll develop and manage features for Screensavers, Static & Dynamic Wallpapers, Trivia, Featured Experience and AI initiatives. You will be working on A.I initiatives to develop new features on platforms to create user enhancing experiments.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Designing and developing features for new Experiences on the Roku platform.
2. Creating PoC to elaborate on ideas and work in startup mindset to break fast and deliver quickly.
3. Collaborating with UI/UX design and backend team to create and implement new experiences.
4. Adapting PoCs for productionising the solution
5. Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving issues to maintain commercially viable solutions.
We Are Excited If You Have
6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
7. At least 5yrs experience in a Software Engineering environment
8. Substantial Project based on using AI/ML and LLM technologies
9. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, Python, BrightScript, or related technologies.
10. Experience working in an embedded environment
11. Consumer electronics experience in media/content or ad product development is a plus.
12. Experience in productionizing solutions, including content management, UI development, cloud development, and cloud backend integration.
13. Knowledge of Core OS concepts like memory management and multi-threading.
14. Experience in API design, with an understanding of considerations and trade-offs.
15. Strong communication skills, as this role involves frequent collaboration across teams.
