ABOUT THE JOB.

As a Reliability Lead for ERIKS, you will be dedicated to one of our clients in the frozen foods industry, a well-established household brand for over 60 years. You will drive reliability improvement programs across the plant, using data analysis (Power BI and SAP) to work closely with plant teams to reduce food safety and maintenance incidents, embodying the principle that prevention is better than cure.

You’ll lead onsite maintenance improvements to reduce downtime, enhance asset reliability, and optimize maintenance lifecycle costs. You will conduct root cause analysis and deliver actionable recommendations for the client.

You will manage a small team of technicians responsible for vibration data collection, lubrication routines, and ad-hoc engineering services.

About the role:

* Analyzing equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends.
* Conducting root cause analysis to determine underlying issues.
* Developing and implementing new maintenance procedures.
* Designing procedures for monitoring and testing equipment.
* Finding new technologies and processes to improve equipment performance.
* Developing and delivering training programs for staff.
* Collaborating across departments to integrate reliability into all operations.
* Ensuring safety and adherence to company policies.
* Improving uptime and reducing maintenance costs through optimal asset management.
* Identifying pain points and developing improvement strategies.
* Working with the Shift Operations team to address plant issues promptly.
* Understanding plant processes and bottlenecks to prioritize work.
* Utilizing support functions and expertise to develop solutions.
* Engaging with OEMs, contractors, and specialists for improvements.

Hours of work:

* 07:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
* 1-hour lunch break
* Total hours: 42.5 per week

Key Skills, Experience & Requirements:

* HNC or equivalent in mechanical/electrical discipline – Essential
* IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH General Certificate – Advantageous (training can be provided)
* FMCG experience, especially in food industry – Advantageous
* SAP and Power BI knowledge – Preferable
* Results-driven and self-managing
* Broad engineering fundamentals knowledge
* Experience with CMMS review and improvement – Essential
