Aureos are recruiting a Document Controller to support with our Renewables project in Pembrokshire. This position can be remote but visits to and from site will be required.
Aureos has a growing capability in the energy market, including major infrastructure solutions and high voltage engineering.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Controlling intake, handling and organising storage of electronic and hard copy company and project documentation.
* Following and improving document control procedures (ultimately as per ISO 19650:1,2).
* Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.
* Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals.
* Conducting regular reviews and document audits.
* Organise and distribute documents.
* Share documents at key times to facilitate timely project completion.
* Serve as gatekeeper for internal documents being sent and received externally.
* Validate all information – empowered to reject and send back to originator any non-compliant information.
* Process and control all project document types on a day to day basis in an accurate and timely manner.
* Ensure that documents, drawings, RFI’s, transmittals and submittals are maintained and managed.
* Validate documents content.
* Check for accuracy within files (ultimately as per ISO 19650: 1,2).
* Distribute project-related information to internal teams.
* File Documents.
* Manage the flow of the documentation within the project.
* Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
* Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
* Responsible for checking document naming not correcting non-compliance.
* Updating revisions, status and state of files.
Skills and Experience
* Experience working as a Document Controller and within a similar industry.
* Be used to working with Document Control software.
* Have great organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects.
