Salary: GBP45000 - GBP48000 per annum + Overtime paid + 5k per annum grats
We are currently seeking a Senior Sous Chef that will be working within a stunning hotel in South Devon and alongside it’s respected and well known Exec Chef who is looking for a talented and passionateSenior Sous Cheffrom a fine dining and Rosette background to be part of a journey taking the hotel to 3 Rosette over the next 3 to 4 years. The position also offer progression to a Head Chef Position over the next year or 2 as the site expands.
The SeniorSous Chef will have full creative freedom, working alongside the Exec Head and will allow you to express your skills and passion for cooking, ingredients and presentation.
You will be situated within a modern kitchen with covers up to 28 at lunch and dinner and the Executive Chef’s priority is keeping the kitchen a friendly and calm place with the Exec leading from the front.
This opportunity gives the SeniorSous Chef the chance to work with completely fresh ingredients and work with complete creative freedom around designing a new menu alongside the Exec Chef.
* Support the Exec Chef in leading the kitchen team and delegated tasks

* Assist with menu development and the plan to achieve 3 Rosette
* Take responsibility for stock ordering and monthly stock-takes
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
