Work within Contract Specific Quality Standards and ensure a high level of customer care (These standards vary from contract to contract and will be available at your base) 4. Ensure effective communication with the Control Centre, by telephone or electronic means 5. Transfer patients using equipment and skills specific to individual needs 6. Provide effective care to patients, appropriate to their requirements using available equipment.
1. Transport patients safely and considerately this will include pre-planned and ad-hoc journeys. 8. Ensure patients have a safe, smooth journey, complying with all relevant traffic legislation and driving with consideration for other road users.
2. Maintain full and accurate records and reports, including Patient Transport Records, Accident Reports, and Incident Reports etc. These may be both paper and electronic. 10.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are kept in states of cleanliness and readiness. 11. Undertake required training to maintain acceptable standards and quality of care. 12.
Maintain a current valid driving licence. 13. Adhere to corporate Instructions and Policies, Operational Instructions, Clinical Protocols, Quality Procedures and other verbal or written instructions. 14.
