Home Economics at Slemish College The Home Economics Department, at Slemish College, is highly successful, as evidenced by the consistently strong uptake of students and the outstanding results in public examinations achieved each year. Currently the Department offers Food and Nutrition and Child Development at GCSE Level, along with Hospitality. At Post 16, the Department offers BTec Health and Social Care and BTec Hospitality. The Governors are looking to appoint a dynamic, forward-thinking and successful practitioner, to contribute to this highly successful Department. The post brings a full time permanent contract. As with any appointment, Slemish College is committed to ongoing Professional Development and will support the successful candidate as they learn and develop in their career.
