About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Nursery Assistant to join our team of agency workers. As a nursery assistant, you will support the daily activities and routines of young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your role will be key to ensuring children receive the best care and early education, working closely with other childcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
6. Assist in the daily care of children, including meal times, nappy changing, and personal care.
7. Help children with their social development and learning through play and interaction.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
9. Support children with individual needs and help to create an inclusive atmosphere.
10. Ensure the well-being of all children, following health and safety guidelines.
11. Work effectively as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.
Essential Criteria:
12. Level 2 Early Years Education and Care qualification (or equivalent).
13. Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
14. A passion for working with children and helping them grow and develop.
15. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
16. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
17. Flexibility to work in various nurseries as required by the agency.
Desirable Skills:
18. First Aid qualification.
19. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
20. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
